The RG-6 (
official designation - 6G30) were designed by V.N Telesh (the GP-25 inventor) and B.A. Borzov and developed between 1993-1994 by the TSKIB SOO (Central Design Bureau for Sporting & Hunting Firearms).
It entered limited production by mid-1990 and is now in use by various elements of Russian Army and special forces, as well as by special forces in MVD (Internal Affairs Ministry) and have seen action in amongst other Chechnya.
The 9A-91 is a Small-Size Assault Rifle. It is recently in service and is widely used with the special forces and other units of the Russian Internal Affairs Ministry. It was intended to defeat manpower covered with bullet-proof vests in urban environment.
The 9A-91 was designed by the Tula Design Bureau and is serially produced since the 1994 in Tula city armament plant.
The PP-90M1 submachine gun is the latest development of the Tula-****d famous KBP design bureau. It is a completely new development, despite its designation, that could misleadingly suggest that it is a derivative of the PP-90 and PP-90M folding clandestine machine guns. PP-90M1 could be described as a more modern rival to the "Bizon" PP-19 submachine gun, made in Izhevsk.
he GM-94 grenade launcher and its round are designed to be fired inside the buildings during assaults and **** confined spaces of any volume, transport means, effects on the firer and signature being virtually insignificant.
The "pump-type" reloading and fully closed receiver guarantee the reliable operation of the weapon.
The GM-94 grenade launcher is produced in two versions:
with foldable and fixed stocks.
A-91 - 5.56mm Small size Assault Rifle
It is a multipurpose high-efficiency automatic weapon.
It has a considerably reduced length due to a "bullpup" configuration. Forward ejection of spent cases makes the weapon equally convenient for firing **** both the right and left shoulder, and significantly eliminates powder gas concentration at the shooter's face. A closed receiver contributes to the reliability of operation. Mounting a special grenade-launching unit for highly effective 40mm rounds enables manpower and materiel to be engaged by flat and high-angle fire.
Intended to engage un****tered manpower, including flak vest-clad personnel, as well as soft-skinned vehicles.
Intended for concealed carrying during special task operations.
PP-2000 is the modern weapon, intended to produce high fire density at short ranges.
- An optimal rate of fire and ergonomics serve to controllability in full auto, good pattering and high accuracy.
- The possibility to use extra magazine that serves as a shoulder rest, gives a considerable increase of ammunition load.
- A wide use of high-strength plastics allows reducing weight and increasing corrosion resistance.
- The submachine gun has a rail for mounting various types of scopes.
- The PP-2000 is also supplied with a silencer.
Intended for close-in combat.
It is a personal weapon incorporating the latest achievements in the design and production of such small arms. The pistol has a low weight, large capacity magazine, it is steady in firing.
Its effective combat employment is ensured due to the use of a new cartridges with AP bullet (7H31), which is capable to penetrate class 3 flak vests or 8mm steel plate at a range of at least 20m. The pistol can also fire 9x19mm Para cartridges.
The revolver is intended for engaging the enemy manpower at ranges up to 50 m with а silenced cartridge.
Compared to a silenced pistol, this revolver provides higher concealement of special operations due to the complete lack of firing signature.
A hammer-type trigger mechanism is of double action. The preliminary cocked hammer can be set on manual safety, that allows carrying a cocked revolver quite safely.
